2010 Audi A7 spotted undisguised
Audi A7 is expected to make its world debut either at next year’s Geneva or Frankfurt Motor Show.
Testing is still underway for this new luxury sedan, but our good friends with long lenses have managed to photograph it with no disguise at all in the Audi testing facility.
As you can see the typical brown cover to hide the final look is wrapped together and placed on the roof.
Overall shape looks similar to the A5 Sportback, but the B-and C-pillars are different and the car is longer and sits lower. On the rear is also a small spoiler for better aerodynamics. We also get see a part of the new front bumper design.
For better handling it rides on an air-spring setup not traditional coil-sprung suspenion like the A6. Under the hood will be a wide range of different gasoline and diesel engines. S7 and RS7 are also expected with the top of the line model getting the twin-turbo 5.2-liter V10 with around 600 horsepower.
This coupe style sedan is Audi’s answer to Porsche Panamera, Mercedes CLS and Jaguar XJ.
