2012 Lotus Evora S GP Edition Has Been Revealed: Info and Specs

by Zack Colt

Due to the fact that Lotus appearently needs to increase their notoriety in the racing world, they released a new version of the Evora inspired by the Lotus-Renault Formula One race car, calling it Lotus Evora S GP Edition.

The look of the car is very stylish and elegant, being all covered in black, with only a few accents of gold, at the wheels, and red rear view mirrors, which give the vehicle a luxury touch.

The premium and the technology package come with extra equipment, in order to increase performance, including a rearview camera.

As far as the engine is concerned, the power is provided by the same 3.5-liter supercharged V6, making the Lotus go from 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds by way of 346-hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The car tops out a 172 mph.

Unfortunately, only three Evora S GP Editions will be made, making this car not only very exclusive, but very valuable as well.
Pricing for the new Lotus is $109,155. I think it is worth every penny, especially since it will be so very few of them in the market.

As soon as we find out who and when bought these models,we will keep you up to date. Just out of curiosity.
