ALPINA B7 Bi-Turbo LWB debuts at the Tokyo Motor Show (Video)

At the 41st Tokyo Motor Show, Alpina has unveiled the long wheelbase B7 Bi-Turbo. Power comes from a 4.4-liter V8 engine producing 507 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.
0-100 km/h(0-62 mph) for this big limousine comes in just 4.8 seconds. Top speed is 280 km/h (173 mph. Power is sent to rear wheels via six-speed automatic “SwitchTronic” gearbox.
This year’s Tokyo show is the 20th for Alpina. Their first car was delivered to Japan in 1979, a BMW ALPINA B7 Turbo, is still being driven to this day.
To date little over 300 Alpina-made 7-Series Bimmers have been delivered to Tokyo in partnership with NICOLE Automobiles.
