Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Theme Park is almost ready

On Thursday Aldar Propertises announced completion of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi external structure.
Located on Yas Island, Aldar’s brand new Retail, Leisure and Entertainment destination and host venue for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, it is set to be the world’s largest indoor theme park and the first ever Ferrari theme park.
The iconic sleek red roof is inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body covering a surface area of 200,000m². The Scuderia Ferrari “prancing horse” emblem on the roof is biggest in the world and measures 66 meters in diameter.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Theme Park will open in 2010 and will host over 20 attractions, including the world’s fastest rollercoaster, travelling at speeds exceeding 200 km/h(124 mph) emulating the thrilling sensation of being in a Ferrari F1 car, the G-force experience that takes passengers on an adrenaline-pumping ride up over 62 m through the roof and back down again, as well as an aerial voyage over Italy, following a Ferrari.
In the gallery below you can see the final look of the building and also photos from the construction period. Enjoy!
