The power plant that powers the new redesigned DB9 exquisite sports sedan is a time tested 6.0 L V12 engine. The V12 engine churns out over 470 bhp of total power. The torque produced by the engine stands at 442 lb-ft and is coupled to a six speed ‘Touchtronic’ paddle-shift automatic transmission system. Alternatively, buyers may also opt for a six-speed H-pattern manual transmission system. At this power and torque level the DB9 can sprint from 0 mph to 60 mph in as less as 4.6 seconds. The power and torque figures of the supercar allow it to be driven at a maximum speed of over 190 mph.
