Just a few minutes ago BMW posted on their official press web site one press release whose title is: “Reshuffle in BMW i and MINI Product Communications – Von Frankenberg takes over BMW i communications, Lampka takes over MINI communications.”

So now it’s official, Cypselus von Frankenberg, who previously was in charge of MINI communications, now will head up communications for the BMW i brand as of 1 September 2011. In this capacity von Frankenberg will report to Ralph Huber, Head of Technology Communications.

Beside this change, Andreas R. Lampka, currently spokesperson for the BMW X models, will head up communications for the MINI brand on 1 September 2011. In this new position, he will report to Michael Rebstock, Head of Product Communications.
