HPE700 Camaro uses the modified LS9 V8 engine found in the Corvette ZR1. Hennessey Performance Engineering has announced earlier that HPE700 will pack 725 horsepower.
On the dyno test this modern muscle car showed 645 rear-wheel hp and 653 lb-ft of torque.
These numbers were achieved with 14.5 psi boost and 93 octane pump fuel. Hennessey estimates that 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) will come in 3.7 seconds, 1/4 mile in 11.3 seconds @ 125 mph and top speed will be 201 mph (323 km/h).
HPE700 is based on the 2010 Camaro SS and only 24 cars will be built. Pricing starts at $119,500 and 13 cars have already been ordered.
