Geneva 2010: Pagani Zonda Tricolore

by Ionut Dragomir

Pagani Zonda is one of the most exclusive supercars out there. Last year Pagani introduced two special editions: Zonda Cinque Coupe and Roadster. Both limited to just 5 units.

Next week in Geneva they will show another edition called Zonda Tricolore. This is very likely the last edition before the new model dubbed C9 hits production.

The car is based on the Zonda Cinque and features the same 678 hp 7.3-liter AMG V12. The Tricolore is constructed from a carbon-titanium weave, which is left bare on big parts of the car. Rest of the car is finished with a clear blue lacquer. Red, white and green stripes on the car honour the Italian air force aerobatics team, known as the Frecce Tricolori. It also has extra air vents and LED’s.

Reportedly only one car is built and will be sold for 1.3 million euros ($1.75 million).
