2012 Mercedes CLS

The new C63 is everything I expect a Mercedes to have: strength, but also beauty, snarling roar but also delicate control system. The incredible 6.2L V8 engine which delivers 517bhp gets the car running at a top speed of 155mph, and it allows it to go 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds.   The outside hasn’t changed much, probably the designers thought not to mess with an already tested and approved look. Inside, however is where the magic has happened – the new Performance Media pack. It allows the driver to capture all of the car’s dynamic heroics in the central system, and analyze them later.

Although it moves, looks and sounds like a sports car, you can fit an entire family in there, without anyone feeling cramped thanks to the amazing comfort it offers. The new C63-AMG is probably one of the best in its class – and it competes with other great vehicles like the Audi RS4 or the BMW M3.

The strong-point of the C63 is its stability. Being extremely dynamic and fast, this car behaves perfectly in a bank entered at high speed. This car is actually so stable, that its stability can compete with the one of Mercedes vehicles that participate in DTM races.

Starting at $152,000, this car is definitely worth buying – if you afford it.
